Action for Children is committed to helping the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential. With over 420 projects supporting over 156,000 children and their families, we are one of the largest children’s charities in the UK. It is through fundraising events such as Bratislava or Bust that we are able to continue to be there for thousands of children and young people for as long as it takes.
We have been working with the UK’s most vulnerable and neglected children since 1869. Today, Action for Children is the leading UK provider of family and community centres, children's services in rural areas, services for disabled children and their families, and services for young people leaving care.
Our aim is simple but ambitious to help the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality and achieve their full potential. We also promote social justice by lobbying and campaigning for change
