Steel Case Challenge Cycle, very tough, 5 days

The Glasgow to London Bike Ride is an adventure on two wheels that has been specifically created for Steelcase and their employees. The aim of the ride is to cover 430 miles (approximately) whilst visiting Steelcase offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London whilst raising funds for Action for Children, Steelcase's charity of the year.

From the industrial city of Glasgow the riders will head south and strike out for the English border and Carlisle by the end of the first day. A long and tough first day's ride will be rewarded with a hearty meal.

Day 2 will see the riders pass through the Lake District and on down through the North West of England to Chorley covering 100 miles over the course of the day. On the third day's ride Steelcase riders will visit both the Manchester and Birmingham office before finishing the day's ride.

The riders on day 4 no doubt are feeling weary, but heading for the steeple laden city on a much shorter ride than the previous days riding. With the vast majority of the miles covered the final day’s ride will see the Steelcase riders take on the well plotted Thames Valley route and will be joined by riders from Steelcase's offices in London for the final leg of what will have been an epic five days ride for the benefit of Action for Children and a sense of adventure.

Are you ready for the challenge of cycling nearly 440 miles over five days, through two countries and witnessing some of the spectacular sights that are on offer?! We look forward to seeing Steelcase go the distance!
